SKATERS COLLECTION

The 'Skaters' series is a body of work I made whilst doing an artist residency at the North West Film Archives, where I discovered pieces of amateur super 8 film footage made in the 1920's/30's in England. I spent time drawing from the short pieces, and created a series of lithographs, screenprints and paintings as well as a short artist film which was shown by the BBC, the Taiwan Film Festival, and at FACT in Liverpool as part of the Biennale.

The prints have been shown at the Royal Academy of Arts Summer Exhibition, The Royal Scottish Academy of Arts, The Royal Birmingham Society of Arts,

The Royal Society of British Artists, Mall Gallery, London and various other galleries in the UK.
